Thin Gauge
Here at Thermo Plastic Technology we run 5 identical inline thermoforming machines. The Sencorp Thermoformers all have a forming area of 33“x 40” x 4.75”. We form any material between .010 and .100 gauge. Because these machines are all the same size, all of our tooling will fit any of the machines. This gives us the advantage of being able to get a rush job in production almost immediately. We are not held up because the machine that your tool must run on is tied up on a long run with another customer’s project. We can put your tool on any one of our 5 machines.

Heavy Gauge
Heavy gauge thermoforming compares very well against injection molding, rotational molding and blow molding for large parts and lower volumes. Your product can get to market faster, and with less tooling investment, than almost any other forming process. Our rotary vacuum former can run parts up to 72” x 48” x 24”. We form sheets up to .500 thick
Design & Prototype
Here at Thermo Plastic Tech we take great pride in our award winning designs. We employ decades of know-how with the latest in technology. Our package design and engineering CAD/CAM work stations run the most recent software releases.
Thermo Plastic Technology customers benefit from the services of our high tech design department, where our sample makers use a combination of plastic composites and computer skills to create accurate model representations. A prototype mold is produced by CNC machining, pattern making or casting. Samples are then formed to have the look and feel of the production part. Prototype samples must be produced quickly and accurately for use in the approval process. Modifications are made and revisions are recorded on the CAD file. Approved samples are used in the quality control procedures.

Tooling
Thermo Plastic Tech maintains maximum control over the entire tooling process to eliminate the risks of timeline mishaps, misinterpretation of your concept and other potentially expensive problems. We produce all tooling, assists and cutting dies in house. At no time will our customer get caught in the middle of production problem where the toolmaker blames the thermoformer and the thermoformer blames the production problem on the toolmaker. We control all phases of production from tool making and die making to forming and finishing.
Utilizing our 4 3-axis CNC machines our engineers and toolmakers will use their more than 45 years of tool making expertise to make certain that all tooling is manufactured to the highest standard to ensure trouble free production of the finished product.
Finishing
At Thermo Plastic Technology we offer a wide range of assembly and packing specialties. We rout, drill, rivet, punch, glue, hot stamp, silk screen, label to name just a few finishing options we offer. We have a 12,000 square foot packing area where we finish trays and clamshells and pack product into the thermoformed part. We will also, if needed, supply your carton, fillers, risers and any other components necessary to ship a completed, packed out display to our customer.
All supervisors and line workers in our packing facility are employed by Thermo Plastic Tech. They are not temp workers. Our QC department performs scheduled checks on all packed out displays (as well as all thermoformed parts) to ensure that the pre-established standards are met.
